Some of the major goals of the Model UN program are to help people develop an understanding of the problems facing the world today; develop an understanding of the institutions that have been developed to solve these problems; and make decisions from the perspective of the UN member nation which they represent. Somewhere in this world, there is probably a Model UN conference happening right now. The goal of our group is to gather together a group of teens from different countries of the world to participate in a Model UN conference in the virtual world of Teen Second Life.
